FL 44 joins a semi-hidden duplex with US 441, at some ugly shields. Bring back the Keys! In the first photo, you see EAST in the foreground and TO EAST in the background. In the second photo, on US 441 SB/FL 44 EB, CR 44 was FL 44 but was too narrow to remain a state route. Through traffic is directed to continue to probably FL 19 (or CR 452, Lakeshore Drive around Lake Eustis). Both photos are courtesy J.P. Nasiatka.
