CT/RI Roads - CT/RI 101
CT-RI 101
In the absence of a completed I-84 between Hartford and Providence, CT-RI 101 is one of the key east-west highway links, keeping traffic off of the dangerous two-lane "Suicide 6" stretch of US 6 in CT. Photos are all taken eastbound, all from the same night.

What every roadgeek should love: state-name Interstate shield and button copy.
Typical CT town line sign.

Now into Rhode Island, which didn't quite get it right with this sign.

A whole bunch of very square RIDOT shields. The I-295 squares are 24x24, making the Interstate shields much too small for both the number and the state name. Is it just me, or is the EAST ever so slightly wider than all the other signs?

Have a duplex on Michael Summa. This was taken in 1982, back when it still existed.
