Connecticut

Somewhere on the backroads near CT 35, perhaps Ridgebury Rd. in Ridgefield.

City line on a street sign.

The holes are for the wind.

A note on CT freeways: A lot of them have unique mast arm colors. I-91's are cream, I-95's are green, CT 15's are gray, I-84's are blue-gray, US 7's are rust, CT 8's are white. Not all colors are unique, though, and there are exceptions; for example, US 7 at I-84 uses blue-gray arms.
Also, it is still standard practice in CT to put state names on Interstate shields, although a lot of new signs have this done more as an afterthought, probably because contractors are used to the non-state-name variety preferred by other states.
