California Roads - Mira Mesa Blvd.
Mira Mesa Boulevard
WB at the west end of Mira Mesa Blvd. The last two photos are on the left and right of the same overhead gantry. More than most states, California is willing to put up overhead gantries on intersecting streets at freeway interchanges. In this case, it spans the entire roadway, and is not just a cantilever to one side.
The next WB sign, as Mira Mesa Blvd. becomes Sorrento Valley Rd.
Vista Sorrento Pkwy. SB at I-805 NB (Exit 27) and then soon after at Mira Mesa Blvd./Sorrento Valley Rd., where it ends.
The first interesting (in that it's old) EB sign on Mira Mesa Blvd., mounted in the median.
WB, all clustered around the same ramp entrance. The first sign is the newest and ugliest.
EB at Black Mountain Rd., which becomes Kearny Villa Rd. to the south. San Diego Miramar College is to the right, which may be why there's an added turn lane here. The college was established in 1969, and these signs may be around that age.
