California Roads - I-15 SB - Victorville to Murrieta

I-15 SB, Victorville to Murrieta

Wait, why doesn't Bear Valley Rd. go to Bear Valley?

Speaking of which, the views east at Bear Valley Rd. and west at Oak Hill Rd. It's still only mid-April, but then again, California's warm. (But mountaintops aren't, of course.)

Panning from west to east while looking south from I-5. Technically, I'm in the NB lanes that just happen to face eastward, but south is south, so it goes here. These are the San Gabriel Mountains, with Cleghorn Ridge on display.

The last photo is on the Exit 106 ramp.

In the background is the entrance sign from Hidden Valley Pkwy. WB.

Why does 96A come before 96B southbound? It's supposed to be the same as the NB exits, which are A to head east and B to head west.

It's bad to switch exit names in the middle of the progression. At least the exit sign itself has both roads on it, but when Diamond Drive is 1 mile away and suddenly it's not ½ mile away, panic is sometimes not the most unreasonable response.

The last photo looks west at the Elsinore Mountains.

Whose road is this? Murrieta Hot Spring's! Didn't know they only had one.

That possessive road is the next one, Exit 64, and where these photos leave off.

Continue south on I-15 SB, Temecula to San Diego
